A banda foi formada pelo vocalista e guitarista Luke Pritchard e o baixista Max Rafferty quando estes ainda estudavam no Hoover High School, surgindo como um projeto para a escola e mais tarde, para completar a formação original o guitarrista Hugh Harris e o baterista Paul Garred se juntaram aos outros. O nome The Kooks foi tirado do álbum “Hunky Dory”, 1971 de David Bowie.

O pacto de gravidez
No liceu de Gloucester, Massachussetts, Estados Unidos, o número de jovens grávidas no final deste ano lectivo quadruplicou. Tal aconteceu depois de 17 jovens terem engravidado ao mesmo tempo. Não foi obra do acaso, mas de um pacto entre elas. Nenhuma tem mais de 16 anos.O próprio director do liceu, Joseph Sullivan, confirmou o caso que abalou esta pequena comunidade perto de Boston: “Algumas raparigas pareciam ficar mais perturbadas quando descobriam não estar grávidas do que quando estavam”, indicou Sullivan, citado pela Time, depois de um número invulgarmente elevado de jovens ter começado a pedir, na enfermaria do liceu, testes de gravidez.

Adolescência
Pois bem... O meu grupo de A.P (Ne'ne') fez um video para demonstrar alguns problemas da adolescencia...maes adolescentes, falar com pessoas desconhecidas na net, pais antiqados qe nao sabem lidar com esses tipos de problemas, maes solteiras, adolescentes no trabalho...
Enfim... isso e tudo problemas da vida e qe cada vez acontecem mais...
